A: I believe this dongle is most likely the nothgate hl-xaod-dongle-3.1.18.6 that contains the hl-dongle-recovery.bin file which in turn contains the necessary binaries to flash the "dongle" as well as a Windows 7 "bootstrap" for flashing a new "dongle" or for using "ESP-4"/ESP-F2 firmware on a TF. The manufacturer's website was very poorly written. Here is an archived copy of the support document. With that said, I was able to create a Windows 7/8 "bootstrap" by using Win10. Download the latest firmware version that has been released. Add the "dongle" to your computer Connect the "dongle" to your computer Download Win10-Mini-Toolchain-2.7.x-sources.zip from here. Create a copy of c:\winsxs\boot\winsxs.msi to a USB flash drive. Extract the contents of the "winsxs\boot" directory and store it to your USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive into your computer. Copy the contents of your USB flash drive to the directory c:\winsxs\boot\winsxs\ by copying files from your flash drive into the directory. Run c:\winsxs\boot\winsxs\winsxs.exe Download the firmware that has been released here. Download the firmware, Win10-Mini-Toolchain-2.7.x-sources.zip from here. Extract the contents of the firmware file to your flash drive. Copy the extracted contents of the Win10-Mini-Toolchain-2.7.x-sources.zip to the directory c:\winsxs\boot\winsxs. Ext 54b84cb42d
